Privacy Policy

BizFlow is built to work completely offline. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your data: in short, there isn't much to explain, because almost nothing leaves your device.
We don't run any servers that store your business data. Everything you enter — invoices, customers, items, staff, settings — is saved in a database on your own device, the same way a spreadsheet file would be.
We don't require an account. There's no sign-up, no email verification, no password recovery — because there's nothing to log into remotely.
We don't use analytics, ads, or trackers. No third-party SDK in this app collects behavioral data, shows ads, or profiles you.
All business records you create — invoices, receipts, customers, items, staff accounts, settings, and reports — are stored locally in an SQLite database inside the app's private storage on your device. This data:
is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the app itself;
is not backed up to any cloud service automatically;
is permanently deleted if you uninstall the app or clear its storage;
is your responsibility to back up, the same as any other file on your device.
Permission
What it's for
Camera
Only used when you actively open the barcode scanner to add an item to an invoice by scanning it. The camera feed is processed on your device to read the barcode; no image or video is ever saved, stored, or sent anywhere.
Internet & network state
Used only for two optional, user-initiated features: (1) validating an EU customer's VAT number against the European Commission's free public VIES lookup service, when you choose to add one; and (2) sending a receipt to a printer on your local Wi-Fi network, if you've configured one in Settings. The app has no backend server of its own, and your business data is never uploaded anywhere as part of either feature.
If you use the app's staff login feature, PINs are stored on-device as a salted hash — never in plain text, and never transmitted anywhere. This protects against casual access to the app (e.g. an employee opening settings they shouldn't), but it is not encryption and does not protect the underlying device or its files from someone with direct access to the hardware.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, because we never receive it in the first place. Any sharing that happens — exporting a PDF invoice, printing a receipt, generating an e-invoice XML file — is an action you take directly, to a destination you choose (your device's share sheet, a printer you configured, or a file you save).
BizFlow is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because the app does not collect personal information at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
